Who is FODEP?

Established  on  2  April  1992,  the  Foundation  for  Democratic Process (FODEP)  is a premier Zambian non-governmental organization dedicated  to the deepening of democratic culture and governance. For over three decades, FODEP has served as a critical  forum  for articulating  the principles of good governance,  responsive  leadership,  and  citizen  participation. Through rigorous research, strategic advocacy, and systematic engagement with legal and  administrative  frameworks,  FODEP  strengthens oversight  institutions and builds an empowered citizenry. Headquartered  in Lusaka with a  robust national membership structure,  the  organization  remains  at  the  forefront  of promoting  credible  elections,  public  finance  accountability,  and  natural resource governance across Zambia.
