Established on 2 April 1992, the Foundation for Democratic Process (FODEP) is a premier Zambian non-governmental organization dedicated to the deepening of democratic culture and governance. For over three decades, FODEP has served as a critical forum for articulating the principles of good governance, responsive leadership, and citizen participation. Through rigorous research, strategic advocacy, and systematic engagement with legal and administrative frameworks, FODEP strengthens oversight institutions and builds an empowered citizenry. Headquartered in Lusaka with a robust national membership structure, the organization remains at the forefront of promoting credible elections, public finance accountability, and natural resource governance across Zambia.
